2011 Classes
Phone: 352 586 3701 LEARNING to SEE/DRAW/PAINT The purpose of this class is to develop the individual artist's eye and use of techniques to achieve a higher person satisfaction with their work. Any level of proficiency can benefit from this instruction. Class #I January 24 10 am to 3pm: We will learn to use the power of concentration on a number of subjects to draw, first with charcoal or soft pencil and then with brush or pastel. Class #2 February 21, 10am to 3pm: Further developing the artist eye and skills, the concentration will be on still life subjects. The use of color with limited pallet will be emphasized. Class #3 March 21 10am to 3pm: For this class we will learn to see the human figure through gesture, contour and finished drawing. Then we will do two hour Alta Prima painting from a live model. Class #4 April 25 10am to 3pm: For this session we will do warm up sketches using the seeing techniques learned previously of projected landscapes.
